Elmira Kalieva as a medical doctor, has over 20 years’ experience of health, psychiatric, and treatment services. She managed detoxing programs in the capital city narcology center and the republic clinics. She works as head of department at Republican Center for addiction in Bishkek-Kyrgyzstan. Dr. Elmira graduated from Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in 1996. She participated in more than 30 international and national conferences and training courses.

Dr. Elmira Kalieva speaks Kyrgyz, Russian and English languages. In 2017, she joined the Source of Compassion team and works as our Central Asia regional adviser.
